THE CHARLOTTE B-CYCLE WELCOME STATION
Start your day at Charlotte B Cycle Welcome Center and get the answers you need to make your experience the best. Pick up a complete updated schedule of events. This makes a great spot to meet your friends and family to plan your experience. The Charlotte B Cycle Welcome Center is located at the corner of 3rd and South Tryon Streets. If you ride your bicycle to the Festival, this location will be setup to lock your bike while you enjoy your day.
General admission to the Q City Charlotte BBQ Championship is FREE. However, tickets will be required to participate in a variety of special activities including the Carolina Brew Challenge at the Epicentre. Click here for more information.
The Q-City BBQ Championship is a rain or shine event. Programming takes place regardless of weather conditions, though it is subject to change. Please remember to check the forecast and wear layered clothing.
BE PREPARED TO WALK
Wear comfortable shoes suitable for walking. The Q-City BBQ footprint stretches over a large area of Uptown and it is important that you and your family stay comfortable while enjoying the event’s sights.
All official Q-City Charlotte BBQ venues are accessible to individuals who use wheelchairs.

Q-CITY CHARLOTTE BBQ CHAMPIONSHIP GOES GREEN!
The Q-City Charlotte BBQ Championship is committed to sustaining its ongoing greening efforts. In addition to recycling cardboard, aluminum, plastic and cooking oil, we REQUIRE our vendors to use recyclable or biodegradable food service items. We also provide our competing teams with all biodegradable disposable items (forks, knives, spoons and clamshell boxes) for their plated entries.
We will continue to GO GREEN! During Ti The Q-City Charlotte BBQ Championship and will look to its staff, volunteers, vendors, competing teams and attendees to make 2013 the greenest event yet!
